FAQ

Brand-import FAQ

If these are European brands, why source from Japan rather than Germany or Italy?

Japan has three advantages Europe doesn't: (1) low mileage, Japanese drivers average 6–8k km/yr vs 14k in Germany; (2) dealer service culture (Porsche Japan, Mercedes Japan) with full histories; (3) the restrictive Shaken system, costly biennial inspections push owners to sell after 5–7 years. Result: a Japanese 911 GT3 typically has 18,000 km with full papers; the German equivalent has 62,000.

Are European cars from Japan LHD or RHD?

Most are LHD. Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, McLaren: 70–85% of Japanese imports are left-hand-drive, because premium buyers there specifically order the "original European" spec. Mercedes, BMW, Audi are split roughly evenly. The USS/HAA sheet always marks steering side, we filter LHD by default unless you ask for RHD.

Can I commission a search for a specific model?

Yes, this is how most of our work runs. "I'm after a 911 GT3 RS 991.2 Weissach, LHD, <20k km, up to ¥45M" or "R34 V-Spec II Nür, grade 4+, landed under 450k PLN". We monitor USS/HAA (12–18 hits/week on average), send you the sheet + photos + translation, bid to your cap. No hit means no cost.
