Direct cooperation with Japan. We work with verified partners in Japan and operate our own holding yard in Tokyo. Cars are under constant supervision from the moment of the winning bid until they leave for shipping.

Inspection before the bid. For every car you get the original auction sheet, our translation, and our own inspection report with photos and video. If the condition doesn't match the sheet, we don't bid.

Freight insurance. Basic ocean-freight insurance is included. On request we arrange full insurance for the whole import, from the winning bid to handover.

Constant communication and transparency. A dedicated point of contact at every stage. WhatsApp/email updates, port photos, invoices and documents in real time. No hidden costs.

Registering the car for you. After the car arrives you get the full set of documents and we answer every question, but the registration is done on your side. A left-hand-drive car goes through its first registration in Poland via a technical inspection at a vehicle inspection station, then the registration office.

Zero duty. Every calculation carries 10% duty, plus 21% VAT at clearance in Rotterdam and Polish excise before registration (3.1% up to 2000 cc, 18.6% above, hybrids 1.55% and 9.3% respectively). The EU-Japan agreement has a zero rate, but it requires a proof of origin that in practice cannot be obtained for a used auction car, so we never put zero into a quote.

Sold prices. The amounts in the catalogue and in the price reports are opening prices, not sold prices. The auction data available to us ends at the opening price, and we say so next to every figure.

An easy registration of a right-hand-drive car. By default we look for left-hand-drive cars. A right-hand-drive car straight from Japan does not meet the conditions of § 9 of the regulation on technical conditions of vehicles (Dz.U. 2024 poz. 502), so it needs one of three routes: a first registration before 1985, an earlier registration in another EU country, or a conversion of the steering to the left side. We describe this in a separate article.

Two weeks. From the winning bid to delivery at your address we count 10 to 16 weeks. You will find that term in the contract, and it is the only one that applies.

The catalogue of cars from upcoming Japanese auctions shows auction sheets, photos and opening prices before you decide whether to bid at all. From the same data set we compute a monthly opening-price report for selected models (in Polish), and the brand and model pages carry supply and price statistics.

The price figures in our articles come from this data set, and the statements about duty, excise and registration link to the legal acts and carry the date on which we checked the law.
