Why Bentley?
Bentley in our auction history. We monitor ~180,000 cars weekly across Japanese auction networks. Bentley surfaces most often as: Continental, Bentayga, Flying Spur, Arnage and Azure. Every lot lands on our desk before the bid: auction sheet, detail photos, repair history, inspector report.
Where they surface. In our history Bentley comes mostly from Tokyo, Nagoya&Hokuriku and Nagoya & Hokuriku. That matters because every network runs its own beat: USS Tokyo closes Thursdays, HAA Kobe Tuesdays, TAA Yokohama Fridays. We know when to bid and when to walk.
Years and prices. Our Bentley records span 1993–2025. Start prices range 50k JPY to 27M JPY (hammer typically lands 1.3–2× the start). On top of that: RoRo shipping (€1,200–1,800), 10% customs, 3.1% or 18.6% excise (engine-dependent), 23% VAT. Full landed-cost calculator sits on the homepage.
Why Japan, not Germany. Bentley cars in Japan were bought by Bentley Japan dealers and Tokyo/Osaka private collectors. Shaken inspections every two years filter out rusty examples. From the German market you end up with the same cars that have circled there for five years, with the odometer rolled back twice.
