Porsche Cayman · 2005–present · Buying guide

    Porsche Cayman.
    The mid-engined coupe.

The Cayman is Porsche's two-seat mid-engined coupe, built since 2005 as the fixed-roof version linked to the Boxster. Successive generations carry the codes 987, 981 and 982, and the stiff body and central drivetrain give precise, balanced handling. Engines are naturally aspirated or turbocharged flat units, with rear-wheel drive and a manual or PDK dual-clutch gearbox. It is one of the brand's best-handling models. The exact powertrain and output depend on the version and model year.
