The Cayman is Porsche's two-seat mid-engined coupe, built since 2005 as the fixed-roof version linked to the Boxster. Successive generations carry the codes 987, 981 and 982, and the stiff body and central drivetrain give precise, balanced handling. Engines are naturally aspirated or turbocharged flat units, with rear-wheel drive and a manual or PDK dual-clutch gearbox. It is one of the brand's best-handling models. Cayman

Which Cayman generation should I pick?

The 987 is the cheapest entry, but needs careful checks on engine condition. The 981 offers a better interior and handling, while the 982 is the newest design with turbocharged engines and the GT4 variant. We match the year and variant to your budget and expectations.

Is a Cayman from Japan a good choice?
