Does the new C 63 really no longer have a V8?

Yes. The W206 generation (C 63 S E Performance) dropped the 4.0 V8 in favor of a 2.0 four-cylinder (M139) with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. Combined power is around 680 hp, more than the previous V8 generation, but the sound character is entirely different.

Which C 63 generation is better for an enthusiast?
