Why Moke?
Moke in our auction history. We monitor ~180,000 cars weekly across Japanese auction networks. Moke surfaces most often as: Mini Moke. Every lot lands on our desk before the bid: auction sheet, detail photos, repair history, inspector report.
Where they surface. In our history Moke comes mostly from HAA Kobe. That matters because every network runs its own beat: USS Tokyo closes Thursdays, HAA Kobe Tuesdays, TAA Yokohama Fridays. We know when to bid and when to walk.
Years and prices. Our Moke records span 1992–1992. On top of that: RoRo shipping (€1,200–1,800), 10% customs, 3.1% or 18.6% excise (engine-dependent), 23% VAT. Full landed-cost calculator sits on the homepage.
Why Japan, not Germany. Moke cars in Japan were bought by Moke Japan dealers and Tokyo/Osaka private collectors. Shaken inspections every two years filter out rusty examples. From the German market you end up with the same cars that have circled there for five years, with the odometer rolled back twice.
