Mercedes-Benz Medium ClassWG 280TE

The Japanese auctioneer grade rates a vehicle's technical and cosmetic condition on a scale from 1 (needs full restoration) to 6 (as new). S marks a special, nearly-new car — typically a showroom display or very short-use vehicle. R / RA indicate post-accident repair history — with or without intervention in a structural body element respectively. The precise scope of the grade is set by an independent auction inspector who physically examines the car a few days before the sale.
